Hike to Minnehaha Falls

If you’re looking for an opportunity to get back to nature, Minnehaha Regional Park is the place for you. The park is home to a variety of gardens that are perfect for spending time with friends or family.
The Pergola Garden in particular is a wonderful spot to take a stroll. It features a jaw-dropping vine-covered pergola that allows for rows of flowers to flourish in full sunlight.
You’ll also find native shade-loving perennials, a woodland area, and birdbaths here. There’s even a plaque that provides information about how Minnehaha Falls formed, and how it changed course over the years.
This historic park is also home to a number of historical sites, including the Longfellow House and the John H. Stevens House. In addition, there are public art displays and a wading pool for kids to enjoy on hot summer days.
Visit the Dog Park
The Dog Park at Minnehaha Regional Park Minneapolis MN is one of the best places in the city to take your dog for a run and play. It’s a large off-leash area and has lots of agility equipment, giving your pooch a chance to burn some energy.
The area is also fenced-in, so you don’t have to worry about your dog running away or getting lost. There are also several benches scattered around the area, so you can sit and relax while your pup plays!
